On April 15th of this year, it was officially announced that Svenska Lager had acquired Steelo in Bredaryd, in collaboration with Rewired Industries. Rewired Industries is a partner that provides capital, expertise, and inspiration to support entrepreneurs and companies in creating innovative and efficient solutions for the future of industry.

Steelo has been a trusted supplier of shelving for vertical storage to Svenska Lager for over a decade. With this acquisition, Svenska Lager gains a closer connection to the production process, which creates opportunities to ensure a cost-effective and quality-assured operation.

Broad Expertise in Sheet Metal Manufacturing Steelo has a broad business model that includes complete contract manufacturing in sheet metal, from raw material processing to advanced production. Their services include laser cutting, punching, bending, panel bending, welding, and powder coating. This aligns perfectly with Svenska Lager’s development, where the focus has shifted from pure trading to creating its own innovative products for interior design and equipment for tire storage.

Collaboration with Strong Synergies The acquisition opens up significant synergies between Svenska Lager and Steelo.
